This shincha variety of sencha tea is sourced from a number of small scale farmers in northern Victoria, Australia. Shincha, or new tea, is made using new leaves from the first harvest of tea each spring. Shincha truly represents the beauty of a traditional tea experience. It offers a delicate and refined taste that is slightly buttery and exceptionally smooth.

Place a heaped teaspoon (2.5 grams) of tea per cup (250ml) into a teapot or infuser. Add filtered water at 70ºc–80ºc and allow to infuse for 3 minutes. Strain the tea and serve.
